Church Number 2

Well, we went to Church number 2 today on this long endeavor of finding a church. And it looks like we will be searching for another church next week. This church does not use KJV (which is a big NO-NO for the hubs) and believe in open communion. That was the only down side to it. They were very, very friendly! Grace I think is suffering from playing with another little girl. She saw one who was the same age as her and it was hard to get her to leave. She kept heading to the little girl! :-) I felt bad for her because I understand. We did sing OFF OF THE WALL!!! And they have a praise team so we sung some praise songs. The Invitation was a little different and I know if that was because the pastor had to leave early. But it was still a very SMALL nice church! There were about only 40 people there.

So 2 down, 5 more to go!

On a side note techincally this is the 3rd church we have been to but the second one on the blog. The first one we went to with Jamie's parents and we liked it but out of 200 people only 4 people came and shook our hands. I understand the whole deal of, "Wendi, they did not know you were a visitor." And that would have been ok if we had not walked into in a Independent and all of the ladies were in dresses. I was wearing jeans, because that is now what I wear to church but also my dresses and skirts (that I do own) were packed in a box somewhere. So I kind of stuck out like a sore thumb in my jeans.
Anyways, at some point we will go back to that church and I will make sure I blog more about them.
